Retirement Homes Planned for Vacant Town Centre Site
New Capital Link portfolio company Alderley Group has exciting plans in the works for Walkden town centre. The prominent developer has submitted a proposal to Salford City Council for a 46-unit retirement living scheme on a long-vacant site next to the Stocks Hotel.
Modern Amenity-Rich Homes for Over-55s
The five-story development designed by BTP Architects would feature a mix of 38 one-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom apartments oriented towards the over-55 population. The project aims to help meet the need for quality retirement housing options in the area.
Construction Targeted for Q3 2024
If approved, Alderley Group’s in-house construction arm Complete Construction is targeted to begin work on site in Q3 2024. The completed homes would be operated by the respected registered provider Housing 21.
