Northumberland Living is also responsible for the newest development in Northumberland, its being built by sister company Alnwick Ltd.

Northumberland Living’s latest development opportunity centers on a prestigious period property – a former 35-bed care home constructed in stone with a traditional slate tile roof. The property’s large windows showcase stunning countryside views throughout. With approximately 1,051 sq m (11,313 sq ft) of space, the building has secured full planning permission for conversion into 8 luxury apartments ranging from 861 to 1,421 sq ft.

Following consultations with planning experts and architects, we have identified the potential to optimize the development by creating 10 well-proportioned apartments instead of the currently approved 8 oversized units. This reconfiguration would maintain generous living spaces while maximizing the property’s potential.

The comprehensive renovation, including both the building conversion and landscaping works, is estimated to take 15-18 months. Our strategy involves:

  • Pre-selling select apartments off-plan
  • Retaining several units for holiday lettings
  • Refinancing upon completion to repay investors

 

The retained apartments will be marketed through Northumberland Luxury Stays, capitalising on the strong local demand for premium holiday accommodation.

Northumberland Living is also involved in the green sector with CEO william jackson spearheading Aventurine Climate – an ESG investment, tasked with buidling enviromentally sound peak lopping plants.

I felt reassured with my investments. I first spoke to Georgina from New Capital Link back end of 2021, the timing for not right me for to do any investments and I asked her to contact me in 2022. There was no pressure or hard sell. I spoke with Georgina and James again in 2022 and and made an investment with two companies, with one maturing early this year. Both Georgina and James have guided me in the investments, kept in touch with updates on all my investments and been on hand to answer any questions. I’m looking forward to investing more with them.
